New boutique offers women’s fashions, accessories

FAIRFIELD TWP. — A new boutique inside the Bridgewater Falls Lifestyle Shopping Center aims to bring great fashion to everyone from teen girls to mature women.

The Stash, 3425 Princeton Road, offers clothing and accessories from such lines as BB Dakota, Flying Tomato, Glam, House of Harlow 1960, Junk Food, Moon and others.

The nearly 1,000-square-foot store also plans to offer clothing and jewelry items from local designers, according to owner Ashleigh Messer of Hamilton.

Messer said the store aims to help those looking for a “fun, feminine, flirty” look.

“I think what we wear and what we pick out in the morning is such a huge reflection of the image that we’re trying to project or who we want to be that day,” she said.

Keeping the amount of each accessory to one or two of each item helps ensure customers score something unique.

“When you’re shopping here, there’s a strong likelihood you’re going to find a necklace that nobody else in town has,” she said.

While Hyde Park and downtown Cincinnati offer a variety of boutiques for women and teens, the Hamilton-Fairfield area seemed to lack such shopping options, Messer said.

“Before I was selling I was buying, I was a shopper, and I felt like there was a need for something like this in the community and so far it’s been validated,” she said.

Messer said she earned a degree in electronic media and worked jobs in sales, advertising and education, but found her niche when she opened The Stash on May 19.

“The only thing I’ve ever really wanted to do is work with clothes, buy clothes, sell clothes, help women find clothes that make them look and feel good,” she said.
